Wanda Dhoray, AS, Nursing, MBA-HCM
Health Equity & Navigation Manager
Wanda Dhoray is the Manager of Health Equity and Navigation of the Women’s Health and Education Network of Palm Beach County Inc. She has over 10 years of experience in the field of community health and navigation.
Wanda received a Nursing degree from State College of Florida-Manatee–Sarasota, a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Mgmt. from Palm Beach State College, and a Master’s in Business Administration Degree from Lynn University, with a concentration in Healthcare Management.
Early on, Wanda earned the VP of Service Award while serving as an elected officer of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Wanda has committed herself to serving on the Community Awareness Committee of the HIV Care Council, Homeless and Housing Alliance, and the Beautiful Gate’s Breast Cancer MASS Program. She leads a team that assists in providing navigational services to promote access to care and has worked to raise awareness through outreach initiatives. Wanda has expanded the WHEN OF PBC network of community partners (see our Community Partners page!) in order to increase the services available to WHEN OF PBC clients. In addition, she has organized educational events in low-income housing areas to connect the public to essential resources, and draws from her experience working in outreach in urban in rural areas to bridge the gap between pregnant women and service providers.
Wanda credits her success to building solid relationships with community partners. Wanda thanks board Chair Minister Leroy Temple for the inspiration to lead with the heart of a servant leader by recognizing the value of those we serve and treating everyone with dignity and respect. Wanda also acknowledges her mother a retired educator and social administrator as the driving force behind her motivation to open WHEN OF PBC.
Leroy Temple, MBA
Executive Chair
Minister Temple is a dedicated husband to his beautiful wife Evelyn Temple, and a loving father of two successful children Matthew and Ashley. He also is the the developer of Tare landscape, has honorably served in the military, and has a college education including a Master’s degree in Business.
As a visionary at Tare Landscape, Minister Temple employs numerous minorities and teaches them to create beautiful landscapes through the city of Delray and Boynton Beach, FL. Minister Temple’s efforts include establishing home-based marriage counseling to strengthen the foundation of Christian marriages.
He believes and loves the Word of God and takes every opportunity to share the word of GOD with anyone with a heart to listen.
Nakisha Kinlaw-Williams, DNP, APRN, AGPCNP-BC
Academic Nurse Educator/Administrator, Community Nurse Practitioner
Dr. Nakisha Kinlaw-Williams is a practicing APRN and Graduate Professor at Palm Beach Atlantic University School of Nursing and a women’s primary care provider, providing comprehensive and affordable primary care, support, and education to women across the life span. Dr. Kinlaw-Williams’ mission is to use her skills, knowledge, gifts, and talents to educate, equip, and empower all individuals in healthy and purposeful living, especially underrepresented minorities. As a community nurse practitioner, she serves the local community locally as a clinician and internationally as an Academic Nurse Educator, Wellness Consultant, Professional Development Coach, Health Equity Advocate, and Youth Mentor.
Dr. Kinlaw-Williams works strategically to ensure that each individual receives holistic and equitable care that is unique and tailored to meet their diverse needs. She is a student of life and takes great joy in immersing herself in the beauty of people, culture, justice, and the unique differences and similarities that intertwine each of us into the brilliant tapestry of humanity. She enjoys traveling, reading, singing, watching anime, surfing YouTube, and spending time with her family. Dr. Kinlaw-Williams has presented as a lecturer at several community venues on Women’s Health, Chronic Disease Self-Management, Financial Literacy, Mental Health, Nutrition, Health Equity, and Leadership.
Julia Correll
Executive Assistant
Julia Correll is currently a junior at Florida State University studying Cell and Molecular Neuroscience with a minor in Spanish, and one day hopes to attend medical school. In addition to working as an EMT and volunteering on campus, Julia is volunteering at WHEN OF PBC as a community ambassador through FSU’s Career Center. She is extremely excited for the opportunity to learn about how WHEN OF PBC partners with other community organizations to provide essential services ranging from food stamp application assistance to access to mental health services to blood pressure screenings, and hopes that this experience will help her become a better healthcare provider who is conscientious of all of her patients’ needs.
Jane Cheung
Community Ambassador
Jane Cheung is a Florida State University sophomore, majoring in Interdisciplinary Medical Science, with a focus on Clinical Professions. Jane hopes to go to dental school and has had experience volunteering at FSU and in her home of Miami working in clinics. Jane hopes to help the people in her community through the experiences she has learned here at WHEN of PBC including expanding her knowledge and experience supporting the underserved population WHEN of PBC serves. Through this, Jane hopes to use this knowledge to better support communities facing a disproportionate lack of healthcare and be part of the communities and organizations that provide specific help for them.
